Presentations and Community Projects

Sure, staff could provide all the training for you, but how would that help you in the long-run? It's important that you get the chance to develop the skills needed to support others. Late in the year, you'll join a group to consider topics related to Life After AmeriCorps; then your work group will prepare a presentation and deliver it.

Members eager to advance or practice their leadership skills have the option of leading a community project. Each project leader utilizes the resources of the team to meet the project's goals. Additionally, members may lead or support a Communit ImpactProject that provides opportunities for youth and other community members to design and complete a project to address community needs they have identified.
